Following a thorough diagnosis of the current state and the realization of a mapping of the constraints faced by investors at the regional level, it became apparent that issues relating to standards and certification were a major obstacle to creating a conducive environment to regional economic development. Investors reported significant challenges related to compliance with standards and certification requirements, hampering their ability to conduct their business effectively and efficiently. These barriers have a direct impact on the competitiveness of businesses and their ability to thrive in the marketplace. In order to promote a more favourable business climate, it is essential to address these concerns by adopting measures aimed at simplifying the certification processes and simplifying their understanding and mastery.
A solid foundation for any investment, as long as an available, accessible and appropriate business real estate, is a prerequisite for fostering a business climate conducive to economic development. Recognizing this crucial importance, the Land Workshop of the Regional Environment Committee of Marrakech-Safi. is dedicated to the careful examination of the regional land supply through regular working sessions.
The main issues addressed include accessibility to land, availability of land adapted to different types of investments, and availability and clarity of information. By analyzing these aspects in depth, the workshop aims to improve access to quality land supply, able to meet the diversified needs of investors and economic actors.
